Mark Fewell is on the leadership team of the Movember Foundation, working with teams in 21 countries, and oversees the brand function. He is inspired each day by world-class creative talent ground-breaking marketing ideas, and a culture of “having fun, doing good”.
Mark has been growing a moustache for Movember since 2007, in 2010 was appointed to the global board, and in 2014 joined the executive team.
Mark’s diverse career has spanned law, business, events and media, working with some of the world’s leading lifestyle brands, entertainers and sports properties, often at the intersect of business development, branded entertainment, and cause marketing.
During his career Mark’s work (with his teams) generated numerous awards, including; Platinum Magellan and Gold Halo awards for public relations and cause marketing; Sabre and Webby awards for special events; Best Places to Work awards; and being recognized as one of Brandweek’s Next Generation Marketers.
Mark has travelled to 5 continents as a TV host, commentator, producer and writer, and presented at international business and marketing conferences and at universities for the past 20 years. Mark loves to talk, and to spread the work that the Movember Foundation is doing globally.
Mark considers his greatest achievement to be surviving a month long journey across the Himalayas riding a vintage Royal Enfield motorcycle with his then 72 year old father. He is still trying to find his perfect moustache.
The funds raised by the Movember Foundation are used to deliver breakthrough research and support services to allow men to live happier, healthier, longer lives. Since 2003, over 5 million Mo Bros and Mo Sistas have joined the men’s health movemement, raising more than $650 million and funding over 1,000 programs, focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity. It has also generated billions of conversations about men’s health issues.
